Limited Warranty
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, AT European Design Inc. warrants that products sold through our website will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
This limited warranty applies only when products:
- Are properly installed;
- Are used for their intended purpose;
- Are maintained under normal conditions;
- Have not been modified, misused, overloaded, improperly stored, or improperly installed.
Products should be installed in accordance with all provided instructions, specifications, mounting requirements, and applicable building codes.
Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Cosmetic damage;
- Improper installation;
- Product misuse or abuse;
- Overloading or improper weight distribution;
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations;
- Improper maintenance;
- Damage caused by accidents, moisture, water exposure, impact, neglect, or environmental conditions;
- Damage caused by third-party installers, contractors, or service providers;
- Clearance, display, final sale, or special-order items unless otherwise stated;
- Products not manufactured by AT European Design Inc. where separate manufacturer warranties may apply.
AT European Design Inc. makes no warranty regarding products altered, modified, or installed contrary to instructions or intended use.
Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim, customers must contact AT European Design Inc. within the applicable warranty period at:
Warranty requests should include:
- Order number;
- Description of the issue;
- Photographs of the product;
- Supporting documentation where requested.
AT European Design Inc. reserves the right to inspect, evaluate, or request return of allegedly defective products before approving any claim.
Limitation of Remedies
If a valid warranty claim is approved, AT European Design Inc. may, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective product;
- Replace the defective product;
- Issue store credit;
- Issue a refund for the original purchase price.
These remedies constitute the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty.
AT European Design Inc. is not responsible for:
- Labour costs;
- Installation or removal costs;
- Contractor fees;
- Shipping costs associated with removal or reinstallation;
- Project delays;
- Indirect or consequential damages;
- Loss of use;
- Loss of profits;
- Property damage arising from product misuse or improper installation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AT European Design Inc.’s total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product.
Disclaimer of Additional Warranties
Except as expressly stated in this Warranty Policy, all products are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
AT European Design Inc. disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including:
- Implied warranties of merchantability;
- Fitness for a particular purpose;
- Durability;
- Non-infringement.
No employee, representative, dealer, installer, contractor, or third party is authorized to modify or extend this warranty on behalf of AT European Design Inc.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
Limitation Period
Any claim or legal action relating to products purchased from AT European Design Inc. must be commenced within one (1) year from the date the claim arises, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Product Compatibility & Installation Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring products are suitable for:
- Their intended application;
- Wall or mounting surfaces;
- Weight requirements;
- Installation environment.
AT European Design Inc. is not responsible for damages arising from improper installation, structural issues, incompatible surfaces, or failure to follow installation instructions.
